About the event

Impact Boards EM is pleased to invite Chairs’ Circle members to an exclusive high-level webinar, Leading Effective Boards and Meetings, with speakers Professor Stanislav Shekshnia – renowned corporate governance expert, INSEAD Professor, and an active chair and board member of both public and private companies and Jens Harsaae – a Danish national who has been a fulltime non-executive since 2013 on the boards of companies in Tech, FMCG, Consulting and B2B sales and service.

This session is designed specifically for board chairs and senior board leaders who wish to deepen their mastery of board dynamics, decision-making and high-impact meeting leadership in today’s complex governance environment. Drawing on decades of global boardroom experience, the speakers will share practical frameworks, real-world insights and proven techniques that distinguish good boards from truly effective ones.

The discussion will be an engaging and dynamic conversation, combining thought leadership with practical, real-life boardroom experience.

Key themes will include:

  • What makes a board genuinely effective

  • The chair’s role in shaping board culture, trust and accountability

  • How to lead high-quality board discussions and avoid common boardroom pitfalls

  • Decision-making under uncertainty

  • Maximising the impact of board and committee meetings

This closed-door session for Chairs’ Circle members only will be highly interactive and will offer a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of the world’s leading authorities on governance and board leadership.
