About the event

Hudson Sandler and Impact Boards EM are delighted to invite IBEM members and board directors of emerging-market companies to an exclusive discussion and networking event in London.

From Discount to Fair Value: Telling the Right Story

London,  7 October 2026,  16:00-19:30 UK time

The event will be held at the offices of Hudson Sandler and will be followed by a networking reception. It will bring together board directors, investors and capital-markets advisers for an open and practical discussion on the factors that shape how emerging-market companies are perceived and valued by international investors.

Companies that operate in emerging markets face specific challenges when it comes to attracting capital in the public markets. Investors perceive higher risk in markets which they don’t understand or which remain reputationally tarnished by historical issues. Achieving fair equity value requires more than a track record of strong financial performance. This discussion will explore how boards and management teams can mitigate reputational risk and help close the knowledge gap to build trust and ultimately enhance valuation, through conveying good governance, leadership and strategic direction via an effective communications strategy.

We look forward to welcoming you for an insightful discussion with peers and industry experts.

The event is by invitation only for IBEM members and selected board directors of emerging-market companies. Space is limited, and guests are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Non-members may attend by invitation only; please email info@iboardsem.com to register your interest.
