Dr. Nashwa (Joy) Saleh, CDir

Nashwa is a strategic thought leader, senior policy advisor, Chartered Director, educator, board member and published author, internationally recognised by the prestigious Innovate Finance UK Women in Fintech Powerlist 2022 and 2023 in the UK as an industry leader and in the EMEA region. She is also recognised as a top 100 influential financial industry expert (men and women).


In 2025, she was appointed to the Board of the Arab Bankers Association and as an Ambassador to the Global Women in AI (GWAI), launched by CFTE, a global leader in Fintech education and upskilling for industry and policy makers.


As an educator, Dr. Saleh is a FHEA, Associate Professor of Fintech at Kingston Business School in London, helping found the inaugural MSc Fintech and KBS Fintech Hub Host and acts as a Knowledge Exchange Champion.


She has held several senior affiliations previously with IE Madrid, Cranfield University, ESCP Europe, De Montfort University, Cambridge University and The American University in Cairo.
